Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant for Demo Company in Minneapolis, MN. As an integral member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
